Investors in the Gibraltar-based online gambling group 32Red are in for a disappointment when the full year results are released, according to a profit warning from the group contained in a trading update this week.

The statement blames the impact of the global economic meltdown earlier this (2009) year on its high roller action, together with an inability to build player yields sufficiently to beat the trend.

The company also flagged an extraordinarily high proportion of wins by the players in October 2009.

Internet gambling software provider Cryptologic and the major European-facing online gambling group Unibet have signed a multi-year deal that will see a top Cryptologic slot going live this week, at least six more games carried by the end of 2009, and a further three in 2010.

Unibet's online activities attract 3.6 million players to its popular websites.

The CryptoLogic games have been made available to Unibet through Gaming Technology Solutions plc (GTS), which provides the platform for many of the world's largest Internet gaming sites.

WagerWorks, the UK gambling software provider and games developer, has released a new video slot branded Super Hoot Loot.

Using a popular theme from parent company IGT's inventory, WagerWorks has taken the popular land-based title Hoot Loot and developed a new game for the online market in the new release.

Relative to the original game, Super Hoot Loot increases the base game from 20 to 40-paylines with 5-reels of animated action and multipliers up to 200x.

The action also includes two wilds incorporating a 2x Wild Owl symbol which doubles all payline wins.
