Default Football Betting - A Hot Tip on Bristol City

My football team Bristol City, currently languishing in 22nd position in League One are now 20/1 outsiders with William Hills to gain automatic promotion from League One this year. This after the pre-season transfers were over bringing in the likes of Marcus Stewart and Michael Bridges, when the bookies made them 2nd Favourites to win the division after Forest.

Well City have had a disastarous start to the season. They have never been out of the blocks fast, but after the 7 -1 defeat away to Swansea, this culminated in Brian Tinnion tendering his resignation.

Subsequently, Steve Lansdown the City Chairman, has pulled out his wallet and has got arguably the best up and coming manager in the lower leagues in the form of Gary Johnson - Johnson joined Yeovil Town in 2001 and turned their fortunes around, leading them out of the conference in 2004 and subsequently made them champions of league 2 last season - in their first ever season in the football league.

After 24hrs, City played Brentford at Griffin Park yesterday, with the bookies favouring Brentford to turn them over. Well, it didn't happen - City won 3 -2 and it should have been 6 - 2 all in fairness. Brentford managed by a great manager in Martin Allen and one of the favourites to go up this season, were outplayed completely.

So if you have a spare few quid, back City now! You can't go wrong.

A couple of weeks ago the Bristol City v Col U game was on Sky. Did you see it in Gibralter? It was one of the better 0-0 draws that I've seen. It was also the first time Col U have been on the telly in years.

Yep I saw it - we get Sky Sports here. We were unlucky not to win it after you had one of your players sent off. But you completely outplayed us in the first half, so much so it was like we were playing away and not at the Gate

I have also signed up to Bristol City World - all league clubs have a world version on their websites - Worth signing up to it, as you can listen live over the net to any league game, regardless if your team is involved or not. Quality value at £40 a season.

Fantastic Result last night at Ashton Gate - City won 3 - 0 against Barnsley and are now only 3 points off the playoffs. Back them now to gain automatic promotion before the price starts to drop.

Well the odds are going way down now. Should be another 3 points in the bag against Hartlepool this afternoon
