Not a bad tie for either side, dependant on how viewed.

City are at home, against one of the alleged "lesser" sides in the division. Not a bad tie for the City.

QPR however, will be meeting a team who may be nervous, or need time to find their feet, in a higher division.

We shall see.

Distraction of a broker going through the press talking about a £40m takeover bid.

A reasonable indication that City are on the up, is the best I can say.

On the negative, you don't really need folk around who possibly have more money than sense. Going through the papers first, rather than through Steve Lansdowne, strikes me as foolhardy and arguably disrespectful of the club, the staff and the fans.

What is even more laughable is that Lansdown's firm Hargreaves & Lansdown are one of the largest brokers in the country.

2-2.

I think i'll settle for that after being behind in injury time.

Those 2 points could prove very costly in the end. I hope for your sake come the end of the season, that it is not the case.

Cheers.

Joeyl,

Talk about us taking the mind off the game straight after we scored. We were still singing " SCOTT SCOTT SUPER SCOTT, SUPER SCOTTY MURRAY" when the referee gave a very dubious free kick just outside our area to QPR. That said the marking for the freekick was very Sunday League!

2-2 a fair result on reflection. Pleased also with the point against Blackpool yesterday. 3 games unbeaten so far!

The way we've played since, we looked like relegation fodder. However, being bought out by Flavio won't hurt

My eldest is a decent player. Anyway, we have watched enough 11 man celebrations, followed by soft goals, for the boy to promise me he'll only celebrate fully after the match, even if he scores a hat trick during.

We shall see about that heheh.
