Default 'Bad back' forces Klitschko delay

Quote:
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has pushed back his defence against American Hasim Rahman to have "a procedure", according to a report.
The fight had been set for 23 July, but may now be delayed until September.

"It's something to do with his back that is causing a problem with a nerve in his leg," Klitschko's adviser Shelly Finkel told the ESPN website.

"They're going to do a procedure to alleviate it. He'll probably fight in September or October."

Ukrainian Klitschko had originally been scheduled to fight former champion Rahman in April, but pulled out because of a thigh injury.
