Default Which Online Poker do you prefer using?

Nice site you have here...8)

I have used PokerStars and Party Poker. They offer the most action and not too many sharks like PlanetPoker

Which do you prefer and why?

Hi and welcome to Online Casino Reviewer.

I find sites which accept US Players have more sharks. Party Poker is good though, but it is the largest online poker room in the world at the moment.

I love the prima network though. Microgaming still have work to do but it is heading in the right direction and it has players from many casinos. Piggs Peak Poker and Royal Vegas Poker are both good.

Thanks for the feedback...what's the trend over on your side of the pond, are people more inclined to play poker or bet on sports online?

Hi and welcome.

Online Poker is growing massively in Europe, with it being very popular in the UK and also Scandinavian Countries.

European Poker rooms are fast growing in size and also many sites do not allow US players hence they are popular with the Europeans - As it is well known US Players are leaders in the field.

That said there are many Euro Poker Portals which allow US citizens to play. So it's good for fishing

As for sports betting that is still very popular and always will be. There is definately a cross over now though that Poker is getting more television coverage and popularity in the main stream press.

Good to hear...down here, our draconian laws are slow evolving to a semblance of libertarianism. Citizens just passed a referendum in Florida to alllow slot machines and other light gambling at 7 sanctioned locations in Dade and Broward Counties...

How long have any of you been gaming?

I started in 1979 as a 6 year old in Mendoza, Argentina. I have been fascinated by Roulette ever since my best friend got a miniature set one day.

Myself I've been gaming just over 5 years online. Some of our visitors though like yourself have been gaming for a lot longer.

The US laws are very stringent. Which is odd seeing as Nevada ie Las Vegas is the gaming capital of the world.

Your also might want to have a look at this article: http://www.onlinecasinoreviewer.com/casinocity.htm

I can't see much changing though whilst the Bush Administration is in power.

That said there are many online casino and poker portals which allow US based players to register.

I started off with blackjack and then progressed onto online poker. I've not played poker in a card room before though. But I play it quite a bit on the net. Royal Vegas Poker is great, but that's only my opinion

That's cool, we actually play house games down here - in addition to the local Native American Tribes gaming operations (The Miccousoukees and the Seminoles)

Thanks for the story about CasinoCity. I openly encourage all American gamblers to voice their thoughts out loud. :x I'm tired of being told what I can and can't do.

Try to take the time to gamble in a brick and mortar establishment. The ambiance is really cool and so are the free drinks. Remember to take it easy; drinking also impairs your gaming judgment! 8)

Hi The Source.

I play at Ladbrokes occassionally and Royal Vegas Poker. As you are US Based though, Laddies won't allow you on the site. Royal Vegas Poker will though and it's network is large as it is part of Prima's Network.

It is well worth checking the Prima Network out. We are affiliated to several prima poker rooms. Check out our Poker reviews section for more details.
