Works still needs to be done on the forum. Main thing is the site is back up and nothing lost.

Casinomeister is still up. However the forum is currently down. Bryan is restoring the vbulletin files from backup so the templates and full forum functionality is restored.

Will be about 2 hours

Please post any problems, such as issues connecting to the main site in this thread.

As Bryan indicated on CasinoMeister. The site is still getting hit with a substantial DDOS Attack. However the DDOS Mitigation hardware and software in place is soaking it up.

There may however be a few teething issues, so if you experience lack of connection to the main cm site. Please let me know in this thread.

That's fine and is expected. Once the the ftp transfer that Bryan is doing is complete, the forum should be up.

Dave, you never answered my question above but that's cool. Let me ask you this...is your hosting provider looking into who it was that sent the DDOS attack on your site here. If they are, have they been able to find out anything as of yet?

The attack on OCR was very unsophisticated and crude using not many bots, but enough to bring the site down. The fact I was travelling at the time, meant I did not have access to my root password to provide to my hosts to resolve. Hence the 5 hours down time.

The attack on CM involves a substantial amount of traffic and is not from one location. Coreix my hosts and also now the new home of CasinoMeister are working with their upstream providers. However the likelihood of finding the individual or individuals concerned behind it, is at this point not known. But it is being looked into.

Hosting companies do not take kindly to having their infrastructure attacked, make no mistake.
