Everyone has the freedom of speech here (within the confines of the Forum Rules & basic decency of course) and I am in cahoots with no-one but myself. I stand alone with my babe in my arms, looking to the future with trepidation on many fronts, with hairs standing on the back of my neck & a chill running down my spine.
Who knows what the future holds? I don't, but I'll tell you when I get there...

BTW, I tried looking up the meaning of 'fex' but to no avail. Care to enlighten...?

OMG, what an awesome statement. You should journal daily, that is the most profound thing I've ever heard a new father say.

Fex, btw, is a lojoism with zen undertones, a koan of sorts that can be rendered by watching a pythonian 'thwack' video.

On the lighter side i have my hands full of a delinquent fox terrier pup. I'm finding it very difficult to ignore the bad behaviors and only reinforce the acceptable. The mutt learns and remembers tricks in under a minute, so I know every response is being recorded in that pea brain of his. i can scarcely imagine what it would be like to sire a child at our age; though they say that most geniuses come from elder parents... do the ladies save the best eggs for last, or do mature fathers make the best sires per nurture? dunno
