It wasn't an analogy as such, only so far as people don't realistically expect to win, thats all.
Obviously the odds of winning big on the Lottery are massively bigger than winning on slots.
Though having said that, I don't think many slots players
truly appreciate just how extremely unlikely they are to hit the jackpot.
For instance, I once hit 5 wilds on Spring Break; even though there are 9 win-lines I could have got it on, the odds of getting this are still
3.96 MILLION to 1 against!
